The result has been the launch of a program of practical action built around 4 key project themes: equality of opportunity between the sexes, a managed age range, the inclusion of disabled people in the workplace and the eradication of discrimination. The company was the first financial institution to be awarded “Égalité Professionnelle Femmes et Hommes” (Sexual Equality in the Workplace) status by the French ministère de la Cohésion Sociale et de la Parité (Ministry of Social Cohesion and Parity)
In March 2006, the company confirmed its commitments in signing a Diversity Charter. Today, this innovative approach, to a greater extent, is what guides the BNP Paribas Personal Finance Human Resources policy.
