Ambassador for Cetelem on Second Life, on the BNP Paribas ‘island’.
Cetelem, the pioneer and leader in consumer finance on Internet in France and in Continental Europe, is the first credit company to enter the virtual world of Second Life.
This new universe, on which 5 million people are already registered, including 13% in France, attracts practically 1 million new internauts every month who invent a second life for themselves.
This presence on Second Life is yet another example of Cetelem’s firm intention to use new technologies and in particular Internet, in the best possible way, in the interest of its customers. In this way, Cetelem will launch its avatar on Second Life, to answer internauts’ questions on consumer finance.
The Cetelem avatar, on the ‘island’ of BNP Paribas, the only bank to have set foot in this virtual world, will establish a new type of relationship with Internaut residents of Second Life who will thus be able to find information about Cetelem responsible lending.
For all approaches ‘outside the virtual scope’ there will be links towards the www.cetelem.fr web site.
At the initiative of the BNP Paribas Atelier, Cortal Consors will soon be joining Cetelem on the BNP Paribas ‘island’. The entry of several Group companies in Second Life confirms once more the essential role BNP Paribas gives to innovation.
