History and Business activities

Cetelem operates in the Brazilian financial market since 1999, focusing on consumer credit. It started offering products and services in the credit card segment, personal loans, withdrawals, insurance and assistance.

In 2008 the BGN Bank, one of the most important brands in the payroll loan segment, joined the Cetelem Brazil.

Currently has over 3.5 million customers and about 30 retail partnerships focused on the segments of supermarkets, building materials, electronics, e-commerce.

Cetelem Brazil is also a reference on credit to e-commerce partnerships.
